E-News from Tom: 5/13/11

Hello E-News Friends,

Sunday is Funday! And it is the “best day” to honor God with your time, attention, and rest. Think about that for a moment or two. God commands us to take a rest (Sabbath) with Him. Our focus is on Him. Not busyness, not problems, but renewal in Him. It is not normal, but it IS the best way to live out our lives. You’ll benefit and your families will as well!

This Sunday we are having a Baby Dedication. (The parents publicly promise to raise their child to know Jesus.) It is cool to see all the little rugrats (I mean that in the best way) and the love the parents have for them. The message goes along with the highest value parents can give their kids. It is also the highest value you can have in your own life. The value that has so much power in our lives is….(Come Sunday/Funday for the answer!) We will have some great music and a “very real” drama as well.

Remember that normal isn’t working with time, relationships, or values, so you have to be a little weird!

I hope to see you “weirdos” Sunday!

In His grace and happy to be weird,

Tom

PS There are still a few tickets available for Married Life Live. “What you work on you get better at, what you don’t ….” It will be fun!
