E-News from Tom: 7/08/11

Hello E-News Friends,

Remember when you were a little kid. Everybody and everything looked big. I used to play kickball at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School (I was in the second grade then), and a home-run was when you kicked the ball off the school’s blacktop play ground. It was impossible for me and only the older kids could do it. I saw the same playground 20 years ago and the distance was only about 25 yards. (I had remembered it to be at least 100 yards!) Your perspective (how you see things) makes a difference!

Many people have the wrong perspective of God. That is their main faith problem. That is why they don’t trust Him with more of their life. This does not please God our Father.

Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God.”

You do not want to miss this week’s service at the OB! It will impact your perspective of God. Your faith will grow as a result! (That pleases God!) This would be a great week to bring someone with you whose faith is “up in the air.” I believe their perspective of God is sure to change for the better.

I hope to see you Sunday and meet your guests. It might be their time for a divine appointment. You just never know!

Sunday is Funday! Our God is very BIG!

In His grace and with His love,

Tom

PS We introduce a new song this week. You will love it!
